Very nice set up. This should work well provided the 2 steel rods are straight and absolutely parallel to the flat surface of the planer and that the 2 boards that he is using as a guide are also straight, flat, and set exactly to the same height.. And of course, the surface of the table saw needs to be flat. Any error will result in steps in the planer cut. But other wise, kudos for the concept.

You are brave cutting all the way one direction getting the waste out. I’m afraid of breaking out the bottom face messing up the look. I will go 90% through, then flip it over for the last portion. Nice work.

Super Nice idea! I have 2 rolling work benches and use them for out feed tables, but they weren't design to use them that way, NOW I've got an idea to raise them up level to the table saw. I had thought of just adding to the legs, but I like the how high they are for normal work/assembly tables. Now I can keep and use the locking casters for normal use too. This helps! thanks!

Good sturdy work bench. I made one similar years ago, maybe 15 or more. Served me well but thinking about building another for different purposes. My new one will be one that folds so it can be out of the way when I don't need it. I have a small shop that has to double as storage and a place for the mower. Nice work on your bench.
